2026 YOUTH ARTIST CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Traditional Spanish Market will be held on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico July 25th and 26th 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A table and two chairs will be provided for each space. All youth tables and/or booths must be kept open during Market hours. Failure to comply will result in the youth artist's exclusion at future markets.

1. Youth Artists are to be between the ages of seven (7) and twenty (20) at the time of Spanish Market.
2. The youth artist and parent/adult guardian must be present all day both days at their assigned booth throughout the Market weekend.
3. Youth artists are required to have a current business license and CRS number.
4. The youth artist agrees to pay all Market fees including space rental by the deadlines stated. Late or incomplete applications will be accepted on a space available basis only.
5. The Artist will observe all laws, ordinances and regulations and conduct business in a responsible and proper manner. No sales are permitted at Market before 8:00AM on Saturday and Sunday the official opening of the Market. Each artist shall wear an exhibitor badge and a booth sign will be provided by the Atrisco Heritage Foundation for each booth. Signage or banners displayed in the booth may only have (1) artist name, (2) artist category(ies) as listed in the Guidelines for Traditional Spanish Market, (3) city and state. Non-compliance with this rule shall result in being asked to remove your signage or banner and if not removed shall result in a one year suspension from Market
6. Artists must exhibit work for sale and include only traditional Spanish colonial artwork made by the artist in the category(ies) in which they have been mentored by a juried Market artist in that category(ies). NO posters or self-published materials are allowed for sale or display. The Artist may not sell goods that are counterfeit, copies, reproductions, imports or machine-made except as permitted in the Guidelines. Each artist must display and sell only his or her own original, handmade goods. No other items may be sold.
7. All artwork will be the work of the youth artist and will not imitate or duplicate another artist's work. The finished piece must be the youth artist's work.
8. Work that does not comply with Spanish Market Guidelines will not be exhibited. Failure to comply will result in exclusion in future markets.
9. Neither the Atrisco Heritage Foundation nor any of its officers, agents, employees, volunteers or other representatives shall be held liable for, and the same are hereby released from, accountability or liability for any damage, loss or injury to the person or any property of the Artist, or any of its officers, agents, employees or other representatives, resulting from theft, fire, water, accident or any other cause and the Society will not obtain insurance against such damage, loss or injury.
10. Spanish Market is committed to a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, violence or discrimination. Any such incident or occurrence must be reported immediately to the Market Coordinator or Youth Market Coordinator.
11. No radios, televisions, or other electronic devices that are disruptive to others are permitted at Market.
12. In the event of inclement weather, or other cause beyond the control of Atrisco Heritage Foundation that prevents the Market or any part thereof from being held, all costs will have already been incurred by the Atrisco Heritage Foundation, and no refunds will be issued.

2026 Spanish Market Photographic Release
July 25 and 26 at the Santa Fe Historic Plaza

I hereby grant the Atrisco Heritage Foundation permission to use my likeness in a photograph or photographs or other digital reproduction in any of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. I further give permission to share this image with all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or other consideration.

I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of the Atrisco Heritage Foundation and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Atrisco Heritage Foundation to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute any photograph for purposes of publicizing its programs, including but not limited to Spanish Market or the Atrisco Companies.

In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photograph(s). I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge the Atrisco Heritage Foundation from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.

If I am under age 18 years of age. Consent must be approved by a parent or guardian, as follows.

I hereby certify that I am the parent or guardian of the Youth Artist named above and do hereby give my consent without reservation to the foregoing on behalf of this young person.
