Margarito R. Mondragón is an award-winning Santero with more than 30 years of participation in the Santa Fe Spanish Market. His work celebrates the traditions of New Mexican religious folk art. His carvings are part of the permanent collection at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque. They are also featured in the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe. His work is also included in the permanent collection of the Historic Ysleta Mission in El Paso, Texas.
