David Ernest Manzanares was born and raised in the mountain village of Canjilon, New Mexico. As an active Hermano Penitente of his local Morada, his Catholic faith has long influenced both his life and his art. His work includes Spanish Colonial furniture, relief carvings, and religious wood carvings such as crosses and santos. David pours his heart and soul into every piece he creates, with the hope that it brings peace and comfort into the homes it enters.
